After having toiled for days on end, it was finally time for the students of Ajmera Global School (AGS) to showcase their projects and models for the 2^nd Annual Science Exhibition – Science N Fun on November 26, 2014. It was not a mere coincidence that the theme for the month, scientific temper, coincided with the dates of the exhibition. All the students of the secondary section participated enthusiastically in this fest.

The exhibition was inaugurated by principal Ms. Hima Doshi by cutting the ribbon and lighting the ceremonial lamp. She observed each model with keen interest and was all ears to the bright and innovative ideas of the budding scientists. The exhibits were grouped into four main branches of science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and general science. Students, who could choose to be either ‘inventors’ or ‘innovators’, exhibited projects varying from non-electric  air  conditioner to biogas plant to a bed-wet alert. Some students, dressed as scientists, became the quiz masters for their respective branch. The exhibits were combined with other fun aspects such as a movie corner and a game corner. Music and dance integrated quite beautifully with science as a dance on ‘saving earth’ was presented. The young audience of the primary section seemed thoroughly amazed and intrigued.

Through the exhibition, the students got an excellent opportunity to develop and satiate their curiosity with regards to how the world works. It was an all smiles day for the young scientists as they patted themselves on the success of this event and promised to come back with a bigger and better event next year.
