It is rightly said by Barbara Johnson “To be in your children’s memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today”.
Ajmera Global School (AGS) made sure Children’s Day – Friday, November 14, 2014 - was a very special one for the students. It was indeed a day filled with abundant enthusiasm and joy.
The day commenced with a special assembly organised by the teachers for the students. It was wonderful to see the teachers on stage and students in the audience.
After the prayer session, teachers took over the routine of reading the news, sharing ‘Amazing Facts’ and involved students in GK Quiz. The importance of this day, birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was presented in the form of a video. The teachers then presented a beautiful medley of songs, which took every AGSite’s breath away.
A beautiful poem by Ms. Elizabeth Scuherg, I am special was narrated and presented as a video by AGS’s ICT Head, Ms Shoba Rao.
Then came the biggest surprise - a grand dance performance by the teachers - which left the student audience awe struck.
At the end of the day, each child went home with a broad smile, a heart full of love and memories to be cherished forever.
