The Pitter Patter Week hosted by Ajmera Global School from July 25 to August 1 turned out to be a lively event which the little ones enjoyed with full zest and zeal. It commenced with a colourful display put up in the corridor by pre-primary teachers of rain creatures, food that we relish and the things that we use during the rainy season. There was a special assembly held by K2B students. Children enjoyed the PPT, songs and understood the importance of rain for everyone living thing on the earth.
This was followed by another event “Art work – Rain creatures”. Children saw creatures that thrive in the rainy season come alive with their colouring, finger printing, sponge dabbing and paper crumpling.
Children enjoyed splashing water on each other when they went for a rain walk. The tiny tots tapped their feet in tune with their rhymes, songs and dance on rain.
The event “Recite a Rhyme” was held wherein children had to recite a rhyme on the theme – ‘Rain’ in any language.
It turned out to be a fun filled event which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
