Gyan Ganga International School, Jabalpur bestows upon it students the ability to be future leaders of the world. Keeping up with this intention, the Investiture Ceremony of the new cabinet was held on July 14, 2014 in the school precincts. The prestigious ceremony commenced with the arrival of the school management. The cabinet members marched sprightly and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to the ground for the proceedings.
The programme started with the lightening of the lamp followed by the inspiring speech delivered by the school principal Dr.Rajesh K.Chandel who said, “the quality of leadership must be reflected in the standards, they set for themselves. They have to be firm but approachable. While it is important for a leader to learn to agree to disagree, to be respected is far more important than to be liked”.
Chairman Mr D. C. Jain congratulated the office bearers and said he was confident they will do exemplary work. The chairman along with the principal and other members of the management pinned the badges on the shoulders of the newly elected office. The Head Boy Amritansh Shrivastava, Nupur Bajpai, the Head Girl Nupur Vajpai, Cultural Secretary Aishwarya Nayak and Apoorva Rajput,Sports Captain Mohit Jat and Tamanna Singh, Secretary of Eco Club Yashu Jain, Science Club Secretary Swapnil Gupta, Disaster Management Club Secretary Shreya Patel, Literary Club Secretary Moon Mishra, Band Captain Yash Pandey along with Captains and Prefects of all the four houses undertook the responsibility of smooth working of the school system.
Executive director Mr Nitin Jain appreciated the sincere efforts of the staff and students and urged the office bearers to be good leaders. The ceremony showcased a motivational song presented by class VII students followed by a danced staged by class VI students. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
