Gyan Ganga International School (GGIS) organised an orientation programme on July 19 for welcoming the newly admitted students into the Gyan Ganga family. The main objective of organising the freshers’ show was to tap the hidden potential and talents of the new comers. All students who were admitted into Gyan Ganga International School for the academic session 2014-15 participated in the show. The event was hosted in the school auditorium.
The programme was inaugurated by tchairman Shri D.C. Jain who was the chief guest for the occasion, executive director Shri Nitin Jain, director Shri Rajneet Jain and various other guests graced the occasion.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp. The new comers proved their talent and skills through Cultural Bonanza, which included Western Dance, Contemporary Dance, Hip-Hop, Funny Dance, Folk Dance, Group Song, Duet Song and a Mime. The school’s head boy Amritansh Shrivastava welcomed all the freshers on behalf of the Gyan Ganga family with his heart touching speech. Freshers shared their experience with the audience through speeches and also expressed their gratitude towards the management, principal, teachers, wardens and all other staff members.
Chief guest Shri D.C. Jain in his inspiring speech addressed the freshers and elaborated on the value of boarding life. He welcomed all the new comers to the family of Gyan Ganga. The school principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel congratulated the students for their heart throbbing performances. He appreciated the freshers for their hard work and initiative for putting their talent and proving them. He ended up his motivational speech by quoting a wonderful line “school is considered to be a second home of a child and Gyan Ganga International School is a live example of this”.
