KiiT International School celebrated Republic Day as part of the combined celebrations of KIIT University and KiiT Group of Institutions on a very pleasant Sunday morning. The equestrian elegance of the riders of the school wowed the spectators, and the chief guest, Kaw Kim Hourn, minister delegate to the prime minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia lavished praise on Kiit students, adding that the school’s parade and revelry matched the best in the world.
The march past, the tableaus depicting a variety of themes and the dance performances won the hearts of all. KiiT International School bagged the first prize for the best march-past while KISS students set many hearts a flutter with their outstanding Judo performance and were awarded a prize in special category. There was a special flavor of north eastern India as dancers from the north east showcased several folk dance forms with extraordinary grace and elegance, while the special moments were soaked in by the audience.
Awards of excellence were presented to students, faculty and staff members of KiiT. Theodora Fernandez, coordinator, Kinder-Orland was also among the awardees from KiiT International School.
