Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) participated in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round held from June 26 to 30, 2016. The programme was held in The Central World and the Rangsit University, Bangkok, Thailand. Incepted by Daniel Berdichevsky, the World Scholar' Cup aims to create something different than traditional competition and conferences. It's a celebration of the joy of learning. In the last concluded Global Round, 3400 scholars from 40 countries across the world had participated. The programme was inaugurated by renowned poet Boey Kim Cheng of Australia. Miles Bronson Residential School sent a team of three students (Junior Division) namely Catherine Singsit and Deepjyoti Brahma of Class VIII and Disha Mushahary of class IX accompanied by a teacher in-charge. The team bagged two medals including one gold and one silver in debate and collaborative writing categories. The medallists are Deepjyoti Brahma (Gold) and Disha Mushahary (Silver).
