Upholding the glorious tradition of cherishing excellence through education,Bronsonians lived up to their reputation of being pedantic trail blazers with top class performance by cracking the CEE Assam 2014, results for which were declared on May 5.
Students who had availed the School Integrated Program (SIP) put up a stellar display by clinching positions both in MBBS/BDS and BE category. Fiona Devi,Hiya Rani Brahmaand Nitin Machaharysecured positions in the MBBS/BDS category. Fiona Devi, RishovKrishna Baruah, Sikha Singh,Subarna Brahma Choudhury and Zeenat Farheen Yasmin clinched their placein the BE category. Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society,Nandini Dutta congratulated the students and the SIP faculty members for their outstanding performance.
Earlier in the day, she was greeted on the stage with a phulamgamocha, a bunch of flowers and a floral garland by HoD SIP KirtiSarmah. Dutta was highly emotional and appealed to the students to shatter all existing records in the days to come. Her address was replete with wit and humour. SIP faculty members KirtiSarmah, Areef Ahmed, VikasKarn andManoj Sharma were felicitated on the occasion. As informed by Dutta, proprietress Aakash Institute,Guwahati, sister concern of Miles Bronson Residential School, Aakash Institute grabbed top honours at CEE Assam 2014 including the coveted first along with sixth, eighth and tenth position.
More positions are likely to be occupied as the final merit list is yet to be out. It is significant to note that students from premier coaching institute Aakash could secure more than fifty percent of the seats under CEE Assam 2014(State Level).
Faculty members from AakashJairamJha and Atul Sinha, who were present on the occasion, were also felicitated during the morning assembly. Quality control manager, HoD Innovation and Accountability, senior faculty SIP, Areef Ahmed anchored the proceedings.
