South Point School, Barsapara, Guwahati hosted the 14th edition of the annual IT festival - Cyber Fest - on December 5 and 6. Activities at the fest included IT Debate, PP Presentation, Photo Editing, Movie Making, Webpage Designing, Extreme Typing and Computer Gaming. Karan Brahma of Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) secured the first position in Extreme Typing while Hage Doding repeated his peer’s feat in Computer Gaming. Both were awarded with a trophy and certificate each.
CBSE regional office at Guwahati has been organising the Cyber Fest since the last 13 years. The event aims at providing a common platform to schools, teachers and students to give shape to their innovative ideas in field of IT and learn from one another’s experience. The 14th edition was organised on a grand scale with a large number of CBSE schools in Guwahati participating.
