=It was a moment of great pride for all Bronsonians when Miss Priyanka Tahbildar, student of class XI Arts, was adjudged the Best Speaker in Round II of the 10th East India Debate organised by the Assam Valley School, Balipara, Dist Sonitpur, from November 7 to 11, 2014. She received an overwhelming ovation for her performance. The debate competition is a national level event based on Modified Cambridge Version. Apart from Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), 12 other renowned residential schools from across the length and breadth of the country participated in this prestigious contest.
Given the topic, “This house will not allow regulation of internet”, she spoke against the motion and following a well conceived line of deliberations, she spoke forcefully, effectively putting her view point across to the audience and leaving a lasting impact on them. The power packed performance won her the well deserved award.
