Overview
Sprawling over five acres amidst sylvan surroundings near the National Highway 8 in Gurgaon, the Lotus Valley International School was founded in 2010 by Anita Malhotra, its founder principal. It is an English medium co-educational K-12 school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Campus
The school campus hosts state-of-the-art buildings for pre-primary, primary and senior wings housing bright, vibrant and well-illuminated classrooms equipped with Edu Smart Class. The school offers state-of-the-art science, math and language labs, well stocked library, indoor swimming pool, tennis and golf courts and play ground.
Academics
The school follows the curriculum designed and developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and follows the CBSE syllabus, preparing students for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) at the end of class X and XII respectively. It also offers the Young Learners’ English Test (YLET) conducted by Cambridge International and Key English Test (KET) and Preliminary English Test (PET) conducted by the British Council to enhance the language skills of the students.
Extracurricular: Besides academics, Lotus Valley International School places emphasis on co-curricular activities such as art and craft, dance and music. The sporting facilities offered include horse riding, swimming, squash, golf, cricket, tennis, gymnastics, basket ball, yoga and meditation.
