Manipal ICAS twinning programmes

Manipal University’s International Centre for Applied Sciences (ICAS) has introduced a unique twinning programme for engineering students. The ICAS four-year engineering programme enables enrolled students to spend the first two years of the undergrad study programme in Manipal and the remaining two at a foreign university. After successful completion of the second year in Manipal, students are eligible for admission into partner universities in the US, UK and Australia and are awarded their undergraduate degrees by the foreign university.

“The advantage of enrolling in the twinning programme is that the cost of studying abroad is halved. Moreover, after two years in Manipal some students have been able to get scholarships and paid internships in world-class universities overseas,” says a Manipal University spokesperson.

Among Manipal ICAS’ partner universities abroad are the Illinois Institute of Technology; Michigan Technological University; Milwaukee School of Engineering and Russ College of Engineering and Technology in the US; City University, London and University of Leicester in the UK, and the University of Queensland and Deakin University in Australia.
