Ecole Mondiale World School recently hosted the Annual Sports meet of Samarpan School for Autistic Disorder Spectrum with actor Varun Dhawan as a chief guest. The newly appointed CAS Council of 2014 took on its first challenge with some of their enthusiastic peers who worked vigorously towards ensuring that everything was going in the right direction. From making props, t-shirts and caps to finding an available chief guest, every member of the team was hard at work, giving every aspect of the event 100 percent dedication.

The theme of Sports Day this year was “National Symbols of India” and all the races that students participated in focused on one particular symbol or emblem of Indian culture, ranging in the tiger to the national emblem to peacock and lotus. The props were not easy to make but the team had an amazing time working collaboratively to ensure that everything went well.

Students of Ecole Mondiale World School learned the essence of hard work and how it pays off. The smiles on faces of the Autistic children made them realize that whatever they do is worthwhile if the intentions are correct and the focus is maintained. Actor Varun Dhawan, the chief guest, was extremely happy to be part of the Annual Sports Day and ensured that every student had the time of his or her life.
