The learners of grade IV and V of Billabong High International School, Noida opened yet another door to learning by presenting the role plays on the topic ‘Conservation of Natural Resources’ on December 22, 2017. They were at their creative best in their presentation. The presentations were an amalgamation of theatrical acts, amazing props and music. It was a competition between the different houses in which the houses Equality, Freedom, Peace and Unity challenged each other with their stage presence and their oratory skills. The topics for the role plays were based broadly on ‘Sustainable Development’. The Equality house presented the role play depicting the human beings being accused by the animals and birds in the court of law for destroying their habitats. The Freedom house showcased a classroom set-up where they presented how if we do not conserve our natural resources, we are going to become nomads as in the Early Age. The Peace house led us to explore alternative resources of water and techniques of storage of rainwater. The Unity house showcased the skit on ‘Let’s Preserve What We Have – It’s Still Not Late’. All the presentations exhibited the confidence and the communicative and performance skills of the learners.
