Updates - Billabong High Noida hosts inter house debate for grades IX & X

On November 9, 2017, Billabong High International School, Noida conducted a MANCH CHARCHA (Inter House Debate) for learners of grades IX & X on “दानपरोपकारयाअभिशाप” to promote meaningful exchanges of opinions and thoughts among the learners and appreciate different perspectives. 

The debate witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses with three participants from each. Strong and valid perspectives emerged from for and against representatives which allowed students to reflect and evolve. But what prevailed is the understanding among students that the intent and the reason of charity or donation are the most important while making a choice. 

The debate provided a platform to the learners to prepare and speak with confidence on the given topic. Question answer session encouraged learners to listen, think and ask question as audience. Speakers on the other hand were made to think for giving a suitable reply. Learners participated in the competition enthusiastically.
