I’m a sports buff and after my B.Sc would like to pursue an MBA in sports management in India or abroad. Which universities abroad offer this study programme, and what are their admission requirements?
Ivor Rebello,
Panjim

MBA is an academic programme. Therefore irrespective of the specialisation you choose you need to write entrance examinations such as CAT, CET, NMAT, etc for admission into a B-school in India. Abroad, the most reputed institutions offering an MBA in sports management are Northumbria University and Abertay Dundee — both in the UK. Other British universities such as Loughborough, Sheffield and Swansea offer a M.Sc in sports management. Admission is based on past academic performance, reference letters and IELTS test scores.
