Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ School aims to provide globally relevant and high quality education to the students and towards this end, it organises regular workshops to keep the faculty up to date with latest developments in the field of education. The following workshops/seminars were organised for the faculty in the 2014-15 academic session.
1. Classroom Management: This workshop was organised by Les Transformation, a CBSE empanelled agency to deliver capacity building programmes for teachers and school principals. This aim of this workshop was to create Classroom Management (CM) techniques using CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation). Understand CCE technique and using various components of CCE to make a classroom student ready.

2. ASL Workshop: CBSE has introduced assessment of speaking and listening skills (ASL) in classes IX and X to emphasise that language skills are as important as academics. To impart these assessment skills in English Language teachers, a workshop on ASL was organised to train them on how to inculcate good communication skills among students.

3. Activity & Assessments in a Differentiated Classroom: Differentiated instruction is an instructional theory that allows teachers to face challenge by taking diverse student factors into account when planning and delivering instruction. Based on this theory, teachers can structure learning environments that address the variety of learning styles, interests and abilities found within a classroom. This workshop aims to impart international level skills in managing a differentiated classroom.
