Believed to be “one of the largest interschool fests in Maharashtra,” the Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association (JNAA) proudly presented its annual inter-school cultural festival ‘Cascade’ on August 24 and 25.
Since its inception in 1993 with a humble beginning of ten schools, Cascade, today is host to some of the most prestigious ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, IBDP and SSC schools from across Mumbai.
With 54 events spread across diverse fields such as Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Performing Arts, Sports Mania and more, Cascade brings forth a brilliant opportunity for students from grades I to XII to explore their skills and talent.
Cascade 21 featured two days of vivacity, energy and high spirits, all glazed with an essence of healthy competition.
“Cascade 21 not only gave an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and imbibe the spirit of healthy competition, but also aimed at reaching out to the hearts and minds of citizens of tomorrow. For the first time, we invited various NGOs across the city to interact with and educate all participating students in a bid to spread awareness and to initiate a positive change at the grass-root level,” said Achal Shah, chairperson, Cascade 21.
The closing event and highlight of every Cascade festival was its finale, Numero-Uno - the personality contest, judged by some of the biggest names of the entertainment industry.
