Lina Ashar launches Brainworks

Lina Ashar, the mumbai-based founder-director of Kangaroo Kids Education Ltd (KKEL) which runs 60 primary schools in 17 cities across India, has promoted a joint venture with Popular Prakashan to launch Brainworks —  a chain of preschools to provide world class learning environments to children in the age group 0-6.

“Brainworks will strive to nurture and encourage the natural qualities of creativity, curiousity and eagerness to learn in our children and develop their fullest potential,” says Ashar.

Educated in Africa, the UK and Australia, Ashar has brought to India an alternate system of education through Kangaroo Kids preschools, Kangarooo Kids Toddler Centres and Billabong High International Schools spread across the country, besides KKEL teacher training institutes.
