A.M. Thimmiya has signed up with the Bangalore-based 24x7 Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd, India’s premier talent lifecycle management company, as chief operating officer. In particular, he will head SkillBridge — the employability enhancement program, and AVAGMAH — the continuous learning initiative of the company. Thimmiya will also be involved with developing new growth strategies, and overall execution and delivery of the company’s programmes.
Prior to coming aboard 24x7 Learning, Thimmiya served as the senior vice president and global head of distance education at Manipal Education and held senior positions at Aptech Ltd, Modi Xerox and Microland. “Thimmiya’s addition to our management team will provide us the expertise to achieve superlative growth. His domain knowledge of the education sector and his successful track record of developing strong franchisee networks will play a key role in new strategic initiatives of 24x7 Learning,” says K.S. Karthik, chief executive of the company.
