To salute the spirit of togetherness, every year SAI International School takes pleasure in inviting families of the students of classes Playgroup to class III to celebrate the Family Fiesta, “Art from the Heart” in the school. Such initiatives of getting the families together on a common platform for the holistic grooming of children are taken by the school because, we at SAI have always believed in partnering with parents to forge strong bonds; thereby enhancing a balance in the developmental process of the students.

This year the family fiesta was organised in the morning of January 16, 2016 with the theme being ‘flowers’. The registration counter buzzed with eager parents waiting to get their tokens and create magic with their creations. The entire atmosphere was charged and more than 200 families participated and appreciated the school for having taken such a great initiative.

Principal Shri Harish Sanduja in his address thanked the parents for participating enthusiastically in the event keeping all their regular work aside. He said, “As parents it is our first duty to be a part of our child’s life as it gives the child a sense of security and confidence that helps in their wholesome and holistic development”.

Sanaya Panda of Playgroup bagged the first position and Aryaditya Amitabh of KG II bagged the second position. The third prize was jointly received by Ayushmaan Das of KG II and Ankita Supriya Das of Class III. Consolation prizes were awarded to Deeksha Goutham of Class I, Aanya Mishra of Class III and Saanvi of KG II and certificates of participation were awarded to all the participants.

All the parents looked extremely happy participating in the event. They were enjoying each and every moment helping their kids with the activity. “We rarely get to spend such quality hours with our kids. I believe, this is the best way to bond with the children and I am obliged that the school has been inviting us every year and has been providing us with this wonderful opportunity” said a parent.
