SAI International School aspires to give ample exposure to the students by inculcating global dimension into the school curriculum. After successful student exchange visits to UK in the last three years, the school decided to offer the students exposure to some of the Indian schools too. City International School, Mumbai is one of SAI’s national partner schools from the west. CIS team had visited SAI International in the month of March and SAI students led by two teachers visited the CIS campus for a reciprocal visit in June.
A delegate of 16 SAI International students accompanied by two teachers reached Mumbai on Monday, June22, 2014 and were received by the CIS School staff members. During their stay in Mumbai, the students were engaged in several collaborative projects on science and literature. They attended classes and also participated in several sporting activities with the CIS students. SAI and CIS students also played a friendly cricket match.
The SAI team had an exclusive and enjoyable Mumbai Darshan and saw places such as the Gateway of India, Shivaji Chhatrapati Vastu Sanghrahalay, St. Mary’s Church, Bandstand Fort, Juhu, Marine drive, Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Samarpan. They also enjoyed a full day at the world famous EsselWorld and visited Nehm Science Centre.
The trip proved to be a very enriching experience for the students as well as teachers. SAI International aspires to continue to maintain lasting relationship with City International School, Mumbai.
