The Annual Sport Meet 2013 was a much awaited event in the Tulip International School calendar. The event was held on December 28, 2013 at the sports ground of C.N.Vidyalaya.
The grand event was graced by eminent personalities, with Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (receipient of Vir Chakra, 1971) as the chief guest.
The impressive March Past, Mass Drills, Karate presentations and Fancy Drills enhanced the vibrancy of the occasion. Athletic events of various categories, which encouraged maximum participation of students, followed one after the other with heightened spirits of competitiveness and enthusiasm. The prize distribution ceremony was the most exciting moment wherein winners were rewarded for their accomplishments. It was a close competition between the four Houses of the school.
Sunderkand Path
On January 27, 2014, the parents, students and staff at Tulip experienced spiritual rejuvenation and the school’s ambience reverberated with positive aura as the spiritual stalwart Shri Ajay Yagnikli chanted the Sunderkand - one of the most auspicious chapters from the Rama Charita Manas by Tulsidas. As the team of musicians melodiously rendered the shlokas, explanations of the same were also given in Hindi. Oven one thousand participants including parents, staff, guests and invitees were engrossed in spiritual ecstasy.
The inspirational speech by Swami Adhyatnarand from Shivanand Ashram added to the serenity of the religious occasion. The event culminated with the distribution of ‘Prasad’ and dinner. All invitees left the campus charged with positive energy.
Dandiya Dhamaal Maintaining the tradition of the school, Navratri, the most vibrant festival was celebrated on October 7, 2013 in a grand manner at Mangalaya Vatika Farm. The lawn of Mangalaya brimmed with fun and gaiety, when the garba was on. Revelers twisted and twirled to the tunes of the renowned singer, actor and the maestro in traditional garba.
The décor made the celebration more vibrant and alive coupled with the lilting tunes of Shri Arun Rajayaguru, the maestro in traditional garba. Judges had a tough time picking the winners for all categories.
