Overview
The New Tulip International School, Ahmedabad, was set up in 1996, and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Cambridge International Examinations, UK. Academic excellence is given priority and the school inspires its students to become successful lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.
In addition to classroom teaching, the school encourages learning through workshops, group work and skill-building activities. The daily schedule is planned to accommodate a good mix of academics and extra-curricular activities.
The school was founded by Yogesh Shridhar in memory of his father Shri Dahyabhai A. Patel, a renowned educator, with a vision “to offer education of international standards under one roof, enabling students to be well-versed to face the challenges of the world”.
Campus
The school campus boasts green lawns, four wings offering modern facilities, well-lit classrooms, and separate physics, chemistry and biology labs. The school has a library, kid’s playroom, computer room, dance room, playgrounds, music room and a karate training room. Facilities for volleyball, skating, chess, and yoga are offered.
Academics
The school offers education from kindergarten to class XII. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Cambridge International Examinations, UK. Students have the choice to write the class X CBSE exam or CIE’s IGCSE exam.
Extracurricular activities
A rich selection of extracurricular activities is offered. Students participate in cultural events, field trips, competitive and non competitive sport activities, dance, drama, quizzes, art and music, skating, table tennis, volleyball and other sports.
Admission
Admission forms are available at the school administrative office and can also be obtained by contacting the Public Relations Officer at the school. There is an informal interview with the principal and an entrance test that is aimed at understanding the child.
