Overview
The Magical Years, Bangalore is a Montessori pre-school located in the premises of The Bhupathi Tennis Village. Established in 2011, The Magical Years is founded by Krishna Bhupathi, who is also the founder of The Tennis Village and Shirley Madhavan Kutty, the founder of Magic Years, New Delhi. It offers a unique educational experience combining Montessori and sports education. This integrated approach initiates children into sports at an early age.
Campus
The Magical Years is located on the two-acre Bhupathi Tennis Village campus in Kodigehalli. The preschool is a complete child-sized world, with all the Montessori materials to help develop concentration, self-discipline, independence, respect for others and for the environment. The school boasts child-friendly furniture.
Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, jungle gym, slides, swings, a large tennis field and play area.
Academics
Infancy Program
Admission age: 1.6 years - 2.6 years
This program prepares the child to enter a larger setting, at his/her own pace. Activities such as dressing, washing of self, eating, etc., are encouraged. Children develop greater knowledge and awareness about the world around them.Montessori Program
Admission age: 2.6 and 6 years
Montessori materials and activities stimulate exploration. Children can move on their own pace within an individualized learning framework, choosing simple and complex activities.
