Overview
Founded by Dr. H. Sen in 1964, Tagore International School (TIS), East of Kailash, New Delhi is an English medium co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Offering education from nursery to class XII, the school aims to create a warm and open atmosphere where children can develop their latent talents to the fullest extent.
Campus
The school campus hosts spacious classrooms, well-developed computer labs, well-equipped and spacious Physics lab, Math lab, Social Science lab and Multimedia lab. The school hosts separate air-conditioned libraries for senior and junior sections, stocked with 12,000 books on various subjects including science, commerce, literature, language, fiction and reference books. Other facilities include activity rooms for vocal music, dance, art and craft, kitchen and air conditioned 4000 sq ft auditorium. The school also provides transportation facility.

Being a day school, TIS East of Kailash does not provide accommodation facility.
Academics
Affiliated with CBSE, TIS East of Kailash offers schooling from nursery to class XII. The academic session starts in April. The school hosts various activities and events every academic year such as Labour Day celebration, Book Week, leadership camps and inter-school competitions.
The school promotes various clubs such as eco club, math club, science club, computer club, quiz club and debate club. For classes I to V, outdoor physical activities include yoga, aerobics, taekwondo and skating. Other extra-curricular activities include dance, theatre, music, public speaking and painting.
