Overview
Suchitra Academy, Hyderabad is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Suchitra Academy offers schooling from Kindergarten through class X. The school was founded in 2011 by KV Praveen Raju, vice chairman of the Suchitra Group, a member of the Board of Directors at Indus International School, Hyderabad and managing director of the Indus Early Learning Center, a preschool located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Campus
Spread across 10 acres, Suchitra Academy hosts a well stocked library, well equipped science labs, an amphitheatre that can seat 1600 people and a 700 seat multipurpose hall and dining area. The play pen is equipped with a variety of play equipments. The classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned and equipped with state of the art technology including interactive boards with the computers connected to high speed internet and green boards.
The sports infrastructure includes facilities for basketball, tennis, karate, dance, jogging track, gymnastics, chess, horse riding, cricket pitch, skating rink and a swimming pool.
Accomodation
Being a day school, Suchitra Academy does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
Affiliated with CBSE, Suchitra Academy offers a well-researched and well-planned curriculum which de-emphasizes rote learning and promotes thinking skills, analytical skills and communication skills to develop objective perspectives, facilitating independent judgment.
The school follows a learner centric, personalized, skill-based and inquiry-oriented approach to education as against the conventional teacher-centric, generalized, content based and exam-oriented approach. Regular workshops and orientation programmes are conducted for the teachers. The key learning areas are English, math, science, social science, language-II, language-III (class V onwards), ICT, value education, music and art and craft activities.
Sports activities include soccer, cricket, basketball, swimming, golf, tennis and horse riding.
Admission
Admissions are open from Playgroup to class IX. For admission inquiries, parents can visit the school between 8.30 am to 4.00 pm during weekdays.
The age criteria for class I is 5 years and 6 months.
