Overview
Founded by Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust, Sri Sri Academy is an English medium coeducational day school located in the heart of the city at Alipore Road, Kolkata. The school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and offers schooling from pre-nursery through class XII.
The school imparts education based on the guiding principles of the founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and provide a stress free learning environment for the students. It focuses on developing all aspects of the student’s life by instilling a sense of compassion, cooperation, friendliness, caring and sharing among its students.
The school also lays emphasis on the ancient practice of meditation, yoga, pranayam and creative sports needed for a healthy and holistic development of a child.
Campus
Spread across 1.5 acres in the heart of Kolkata, Sri Sri Academy is a seven storey building with a clean and hygienic environment. It hosts state-of-the-art facilities including air conditioned, well lit and spacious classrooms with smart class technology. The furniture and teaching aids are at par with the international standards. There is a well stocked library and well equipped laboratories for subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology and maths. There are two Infotech laboratories as well.
The school houses a play room and a mini indoor gym for kids, a multi-purpose hall for group performances, an open, paved courtyard for yoga, dance & music room, a basketball court, badminton courts, table tennis tables and an open playground.
The school is equipped with elevators with a capacity of 20 people, ramps and other required facilities for physically challenged children.

Being a day school, Sri Sri Academy does not provide accommodation facilities.
Academics
Affiliated with CISCE, Sri Sri Academy offers schooling from pre-nursery to class XII. The school aims at strengthening Cognitive, Physical, Emotional, Social and Spiritual skills of the student.
At the pre-primary level, the school focuses on imparting learning through rhyme and rhythm, story-time, art and craft, dance, free-play, handling of sensorial apparatus, yoga and shloka time and theme-based activities.
Primary level includes subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, General Science and Environmental Studies. Music, Drama, Physical Education and Gym Time, Yoga and Meditation, Technology and Art are also included in the Primary curriculum.
Middle School subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Hindi and Humanities subjects such as History and Geography.
Co-curricular activities includes physical education, yoga, medidation, pranayam and sports such as basketball, football, badminton and karate.
Admission
The academic session for all classes begins in the month of March and the admission process commences in the month of September.
The prospectus with the registration form is available from the school office between 9.00 – 10.00 am and 3.00 – 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday) and between 9.00 am-1.00 pm (Saturday).
