Overview
Springdales Public School was established in 1955 by Rajni Kumar, the chairperson of Springdales Education Society and her late husband Yudishter Kumar, barrister at law and senior advocate of the Supreme Court. It started as a kindergarten and nursery school; today it boasts of three campuses at major locations in New Delhi and another taking shape in Jaipur.
The Kumars in 1956 set up the Patel Education Society, a charitable and educational trust to run school. Ever since, the school was renamed as Springdales Education Society.
Campus
Springdales Public School has three campuses in New Delhi and the fourth one is taking shape in Jaipur. The school campus epitomizes vibrancy and freshness, offering spacious classrooms, playground, and state-of-the-art science and math labs. A well-stocked library, a computer resource center, an auditorium, open air stage and teacher’s learning center are other facilities within the campus.
Academics
The curriculum in Springdales is multi-dimensional including a comprehensive academic programme, a wide range of co-curricular activity, a comprehensive programme of sports and physical culture, training in manual skills and education for social awareness and action. The students are encouraged to participate in music, dance, drama and debate competitions. Over the years the school has hosted many competitions in the field of poetry, quiz, and science. The Springdales public school provides ample opportunities for healthy bonding between the teachers and students in the pleasing learning environment.
Admission
The admission policy reflects the ethos and philosophy of Springdales Schools run by the Springdales Education Society. The schools are inter-generational and promote inclusivity and heterogeneity in their student community.
The distribution of application forms begins in early January and collection of the forms closes in January. The admission closes on 31 March every year.
