Overview
Founded in 1999, Hopetown Girls’ School, Dehradun is an all girls fully residential school sited in the picturesque Doon valley campus. The school spreads over 50 acres of landscaped greenery accommodating 500 students from different parts of India. Hopetown offers students a wide range of subjects and co-curricular activities. The school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi and aims to harness the students’ natural curiosity towards the joy of discovering knowledge.
Campus
Hopetown Girls’ School, Dehradun sprawls over 50 acres of landscaped greenery in the Doon valley, adjacent to Selaqui forests. The academic block hosts three Science Laboratories, two Computer Laboratories, an Audio Visual Room and a large Hall.
The classrooms are large, airy and well lit. A well-stocked library is housed in a building adjacent to the academic blocks. Art, Pottery, Music and Dance activities add to the vibrancy of the school curriculum.
Accomodation
The schools hosts seven residential houses which offer the best in class facilities. The dormitories with washrooms, are spacious and well ventilated.
Academics
Hopetown Girls’ School, Dehradun is affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi and offers education from class V to class XII. The school ensures a teacher-student ratio of 1:25.
Extracurricular:
Apart from academics, the school encourages its students to participate in Indian classical dance and music, western music, art, community service, student development programmes andsports such as volleyball, basketball, handball, hockey, athletics, badminton, cricket and swimming.
Admission
Candidates offered admission must respond to the offer within 30 days by paying the necessary admission dues and return duly signed, the Indemnity Agreement (on Judicial Stamp Paper), the uniform measurements, tailoring chart and the student's medical history form, failing which, the offer of admission will lapse. In such cases the school will be entitled to offer the place to the next candidate in order of merit/position on the waiting list.
On admission, candidates will be sent a set of admissions documents, allotted an admission number and placed on the rolls of the school. Admission documents and the Rules & Regulations of the school must be carefully studied by parents. Once admitted, candidates will be subject to all the rules of the school.
The Visitor's List, Clothing List, Travel Instructions, Medical Certificate and Personal Data Form must be returned to the school office before the child is handed over to the House Mistress.
Admission dues, once paid, will not, under any circumstances, be refundable.

Admission Fee payable at the time of admission: Rs 60,000
Interest-Free Refundable Security Deposit: Rs 1,80,000
One-time Imprest Deposit: Rs 30,000
Tuition fee: Rs 50,000 (per semester)
Hostel fee: Rs 1,30,000 (per semester)
