Overview

Singapore International School, Mumbai is an IB World, co-educational school offering IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) for Indian as well as international students. The school is located in Dahisar on a 10 acre campus equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The sprawling 10 acre campus provides a congenial atmosphere for studies and co-curricular activities. It is situated on the National Highway 8, twenty five minutes drive from the airport.

The faculty comprises experienced teachers with excellent track record across the world. Students are supervised by a houseparent who is responsible for the welfare of each student under his or her care. But beyond the discipline is the belief and the vision that each child is trained to be responsible for his own space, belongings and sensitivities, and to continually sharpen his senses and sympathies for the people around him. Extracurricular

The students' calendar year is dotted by a variety of practical activities like cultural programs, frequent field trips including adventure camps and outstations tours, national and international festivals and so on. A comprehensive co - curricular activity (CCA) program is conducted during school hours - co curricular staff is all accomplished sportsmen and women in their fields including football, cricket, rugby, hockey, basketball, chess and athletics amongst many others.

Admission

The admission application package can be procured via an enquiry form, following which the school’s admission desk arranges an appointment with the student for a one to one counseling session and a school tour. After this, the completed application form needs to be submitted along with all the required documents. For admission to grade 3 and above, an entrance test is conducted, following which the candidate may or may not be called for a personal interaction session. On receiving the letter of invitation to join the school, parents need to pay the required enrollment fee, upon receipt of which, the admission process is deemed to have completed.
