Founded in 1994, Shishya BEML Public School, Bangalore is a part of Pearson Schools, the fastest growing chain of schools in India promoted by the world's leading learning company, Pearson. It is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established by the Sri Krishna Education Trust in collaboration with Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), Bangalore.
Campus
Shishya BEML Public School, Bangalore hosts spacious technologically advanced classrooms equipped with Digi Class Solutions and well equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology.
The well-stocked school library is furnished with a variety of periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, fiction, reference books and volumes of encyclopedias. The school also offers transportation facilities for the convenience and security of the students.

Academics
Pre Primary
The curriculum for this section is a blend of Kindergarten, Montessori, Reggio Emilio and Waldorf approaches of education. The teaching methodology incorporates creative play, social interaction and reading programmes. Subjects taught include language, mathematics, science, computer, art, music and phonics.
Primary
The primary section comprises classes I to IV. At this level, emphasis is laid on mathematics and science. Special fitness programme, circle time, different clubs and forums are conducted for the students for their holistic development.
Middle school
Middle School comprises grades V and VI and at this stage, emphasis is laid on subjects such as maths, science, worksheets, grammar, written expression, computer education offers use of Digi Class and different clubs, forums and events such as 15 books campaign and Yardstick.
Secondary School - The Secondary School comprises grades VIII to XII. At this stage, the curriculum solely stresses on independent learning along with project based methods of learning.
Extra-curricular activities:
The school arranges Special Sports programme known as Edu Sports based on the standard of National Association of Sports and Physical Education (NASPE) as part of co curricular activities and remedial courses for students with different academic abilities. Music, painting dancing and theatre are also encouraged through a programme known as Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY).

Parents wishing to admit their wards to Shishya BEML Public School should follow the following procedure:
a. Arrange a visit to the school by setting an appointment with the admissions office
b. Request for registration form from the school office
c. Submit filled form along with necessary attachments as mentioned below
Age Criteria
a. Minimum age limit for Nursery is 2 years and 6 months as on May 31 of the year of admission.
b. Minimum age limit for class I is 5 years and 6 months as on May 31 of the year of admission.

a. Filled up registration form
b. Copy of birth certificate
c. Transfer certificate, progress sheet of the last examination taken
d. Two passport size photographs of the child
