Overview
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur is a coeducational English medium day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Promoted by the Jaipuria Charitable Trust/Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria Education Society, the school’s foundation stone was laid by late prime minister Indira Gandhi on September 13, 1966 and the school started functioning after inauguration by late President Dr. Fakhuruddin Ali Ahmad on October 26, 1974.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School aims to offer high quality education and balanced curriculum to help students to develop healthy habits and instil a sense of sporting spirit crucial for their holistic development.
Campus
The academic block of the school hosts well furnished classrooms with Educomp facilities, a well-resourced library, an assembly hall, a multipurpose hall, an art and craft room, a music room, an examination hall, lecture theatres, a Teacher Resource Center for curriculum development, an activity room for toddler section and well equipped laboratories for subjects like biology, physics, chemistry and computers.
The school campus hosts a sports arena, three football fields, two basketball courts, a boxing ring, a golf course, a lawn tennis court, a shooting range, a horse riding area and a cricket field to encourage sporting activities in the school.
The campus also houses a canteen with an infirmary and provides transportation facilities for the convenience and safety of the students.

Academics
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur offers classes from Nursery to class XII and follows the CISCE curriculum.

Admission
Registration forms need to be filled in and submitted to the school office before the end of the registration period. Prospectus and admission forms for admission can be obtained from the school office on payment of Rs. 500. The registration fee, for admission is Rs. 1000.
For classes Nursery and Prep, photocopy of the child’s birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation or the concerned civic authority must accompany the registration form.
Age criteria
Nursery: 3 to 4 yrs
Class I: 5 plus as on 1st April of the academic session in which the admission is sought.
Children of Defence Services personnel might get preference in admission.
Admission to class I and above is based on performance in the written test.
