Founded in 2004, Seed International Play School, Anna Nagar is a prominent play school in Chennai offering play way method of education. The playschool, preschool and kindergarten are run by highly qualified and committed teachers and other staff. The mission of the school is to provide a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for children.
The school was ranked No.13 among preschools in Chennai by the Education World survey in 2012.

Academics
The preschool offers following programmes:
Infant: The infant programme is designed for babies to make sense of the world by exploring a rich sensory environment. The baby learns to communicate through a lot of singing, reading, smiles and hugs.
Playgroup: This curriculum promotes emotional, physical, social and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment. It has learning centres through which children explore their skills in language, construction, math, art, drama and science.
Preschools: This curriculum helps children grow into confident students. This also helps children build proficiency in the areas of language and literacy, mathematical reasoning and scientific investigation.
Kindergarten: The kindergarten programme helps the students learn math, science, general knowledge, awareness about the world and helps inculcate creative thinking skills.
The school also offers day care and an after-school programme.
Seed’s curriculum is based on Swiss developmental psychologist and philosopher, Jean Piaget’s theory of ‘Ages and Stages of Development’ which focuses on hands-on activities.
