Overview
Established in 2009, Royal School of Engineering and Technology (RSET), Guwahati is affiliated with the Gauhati University and offers graduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines of engineering.
RSET not only provides classroom training to its students but also offers an environment that helps in their overall personality development. The institution today houses around 2000 students.
Campus
RSET hosts world class infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities, fully equipped with modern amenities. The campus hosts a communication lab, a spacious, high-tech and well furnished centrally air-conditioned duplex modern library, a centrally air conditioned ultra modern computer center and separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Electronics, Drawings and Graphics, Mechanical and Civil engineering departments. Other facilities include seminar halls and conference halls, D' Royal convention centre and a cafeteria. RSET also provides transportation facility.
Accomodation
RSET hosts well-furnished and air-conditioned separate hostels for boys (Aditya House) and girls (Harsha House) within the campus.

Admission
Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
Educational Qualification:
Candidates with B.E./B. Tech./AMIE courses in the relevant field with an average marks of 50 percent for General Category and 45 percent in case of reserved category candidates.
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed the two-year Higher Secondary (Science) Examination of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or its equivalent, as recognized by the Affiliating University, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, securing minimum pass mark in each subject and 50 percent marks in aggregate in the said subjects and valid score in either JEE (Mains) or CEE of the current year, will be eligible for admission into the B.Tech. programme.

Achievements
Technical Education, is the first ever international workshop on Wind engineering in the North Eastern region of the country.
