Overview
ODM Public School, Bhubaneswar is a coeducational day-cum-residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was promoted in 1989 with just 10 students with a vision to set unique standards of quality education and Inculcate humanity, leadership and integrity. It currently offers day school, day boarding, and hostel facilities.
Offering classes from kindergarten through class XII, ODM Public School strives to facilitate every student’s self-discovery and growth. Although the school focuses primarily on training its students for the class X and XII board examinations, it believes in the promotion and practice of co-scholastic learning. It provides world-class infrastructure to support and encourage cultural and artistic ventures of students. ODM Public School boasts international partner schools in Sri Lanka and the UK.
Campus
Sited at Shishu Vihar, Patia, the ODM Public School campus is easily accessible. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and houses spacious, well-lit classrooms that are air-conditioned and ICT enabled. In addition to well-maintained science and computer labs, the school also houses a Language Lab and a Resource Centre. The school library hosts a myriad of books that serve as resource materials for research and learning. Students are encouraged to take on independent projects which the library aids.
Dance and Music rooms are available too. Besides, a Visual-arts room is also maintained; art-education is imparted for the intellectual and aesthetic growth of the students. The school boasts a swimming pool, a gymnasium and an indoor games room. The campus also houses a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a cricket ground. Competitions and cultural events are usually organised at the amphitheatre which can seat up to 2000 people. A seminar hall and an air-conditioned conference room, with a seating capacity of 250 each, are used for guest lectures and workshops.
Accomodation
Residential facilities including tidy rooms and attached study cabins are offered to both boys and girls. A hygienic and supervised canteen and a cafeteria provide students with nutritional meals and snacks. For ensuring the health and wellness of students, a doctor is present on the campus round the clock; a well-equipped doctor’s chamber is meticulously maintained.
Academics
ODM Public School offers classes from Kindergarten through class XII. The school follows CBSE curriculum for all classes but also makes provision for extra subjects. The day boarding school is modelled on the CBSE International (CBSE- i) curriculum. The residential and day boarding Senior Secondary students are offered the option of attending extra coaching classes too, mostly for competitive exams. The school also provides personal guidance and tutorial for its residential students after school (6:30pm-8:30pm) on all week days.
Classes VI to VIII have Odia and Hindi as their second and third language options. Students of classes IX and X are offered Hindi, Odia and Sanskrit as second language options. Science and Commerce streams are offered to the senior secondary students.
Admission
Admissions into the preschool are based on a first come first serve basis after a personal interaction. For candidates between classes I to VII, the admission is based on merit and a personal interaction. For admission into classes VIII to XI (science), the candidate must appear for an entrance exam and a personal interaction. Students pursuing admission into XI (commerce) will have a personal interactional session only. The application forms are available on the school website and can be submitted online.

Achievements
ODM Public School has been felicitated as the 4th Best Day School in Co-Ed category by Education World. It also received the award – Best Emerging School of Eastern India at the School Leadership Summit 2016.
In 2015 the school bagged the ETV EDUQUEST Award for the best school and has been certified by the International Standards Association too.
