Overview
The Nirmal Bhartia School (NBS), sited at Sector 14 in Dwarka, New Delhi is a co-educational English medium school promoted by the Nirmal Society for Education Promotion and India Glycols Limited.
It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from Nursery through class X. Believing that education needs to penetrate into the life of an individual, the school aims at “including the support of the family in the child’s education by instituting a partnership of ‘home, school and community’, in which students are given ample learning opportunities that motivate them to reach their optimum potential”.
NBS encourages students to learn in a co-operative and collaborative environment by involving active participation of parents in the study program along with the school teachers.

Campus
Nirmal Bhartia School is sited on a 2 acre campus at Sector 14 in Dwarka, New Delhi. The campus hosts spacious classrooms built in clusters, equipped with light weight modular furniture, challenging puzzles, games, books and a personal computer for facilitated learning.
The school library is large and airy, well stocked with books for students as well as teachers. Modern physics, chemistry and biology labs adorn the school, besides a state-of-the art computer lab with multimedia, video conferencing and internet facilities.
The art or 'Ourt' centre is the highlight of the school with innovative and creative rooms designed for dance, music, theatre, studio art and other audio-visual activities.
Academics
Nirmal Bhartia School is affiliated to the CBSE board and offers classes from Nursery to class X. The curriculum is designed to be interactive, progressive and flexible for maximum development and progress of the children. Parent teacher conferences are organized twice a year around October and March.
Admission
Admission to Nursery takes place every year during December and January. The minimum age requirement for admission to Nursery is 3 years as on March 31 of the year of admission. Admission forms can be collected from the school office.

According to the Hindustan Times C-Fore Survey 2012, Nirmal Bhartia ranks No.4 among the top ten schools across West Delhi. NBS is ranked No. 63 in the All India Day Schools League Table, No. 34 in the Delhi NCR region and No. 24 among the top Delhi schools, as per the Education World India School Rankings 2012.
The school also participated in the 2012-13 International School Awards (ISA ) organized by the British Council, accrediting teaching practices and innovations in the classroom curriculum.
