Academics

Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum at NPS, Chennai. Students are trained to learn the latest software applications and programming languages. The school offers computer education from class I through XII. Computer science and informatics practices prescribed by the CBSE are offered as optional subjects to students at the senior secondary level.
Admission
Admission is open to all children from class I to IX and XI, irrespective of caste, creed, race, region or gender; however preference is given to nationally mobile groups. Application forms must be collected in person duly filled and handed-over at the school office. Selected students are required to qualify themselves in a written test before admission is ensured.
Registration for admission does not guarantee a seat. Admission is granted based on the vacancies that may occur during the academic year.
The age eligibility for class I is 6 years and accordingly for the other respective classes.
