Overview
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a private business school promoted in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust. NMIMS has been awarded five star rating and A Grade by the NAAC and UGC respectively. Recognizing its significant contribution to academia and industry, NMIMS was granted the Deemed-to-be-University status, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2003. It has campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
NMIMS has been consistently recognized as one of the top 10 business schools in India.
Campus
The institute is set up on 40,000 square feet of built up area. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling-mounted LCDs. Most classrooms have a capacity of 60. In addition, there is a well-equipped seminar hall and a conference hall.
The computer center is equipped with branded personal computers adequately supported by 3mbps shared leased line for internet connectivity. It is also equipped with a wide range of licensed system software and applications software. The entire campus is connected with the Wi-Fi network.
The NMIMS library features a stock of more than 42,000 volumes and subscribes to about 308 Indian and foreign periodicals spanning all aspects of management. The library also houses 521 videos, 319 audio materials, 187 CDs, 274 VCDs, annual reports, management games, news clippings, newsletters and case studies. The open access system facilitates free use of books on the shelf. In addition to the regular services, NMIMS also provides facilities like inter-library loans, audio-listening facilities, etc. A photocopier is available within the library. The library is a member of BCL (British Council Library), AIRC (American Information Resource Centre), BMA (Bombay Management Association), MANLIBNET (Management Library Network), AVEHI (Audio Video Edu Resource Centre), Advance Standard Council of India and ECCH (European Case Clearing House Ltd).
NMIMS houses a state-of-the-art Management Development Program (MDP) hall and an Audio Interactive Language Lab on the campus.

Admission
Eligibility: Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks.
