Overview
Mayoor School, Noida is a co-educational day school founded in 2003 in collaboration with the General Council of Mayo College, Ajmer. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from Kindergarten through class XII.
The school began with 85 students on its roll and now boasts 2565 students and teaching staff strength of 150.
Campus
Mayoor School campus spreads across 10 acres amidst verdant surroundings, housing the Academic Block, Administrative Block, Kindergarten Block, amphitheatre, swimming pools, courts for Tennis, Basketball and Volleyball and playgrounds. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and laboratories are equipped with modern equipment. The library is well stocked with more than 5000 books on various subjects including encyclopedias, reference books, hand books, periodicals and magazines. The school hosts 4 computer labs for senior, middle, junior and nursery sections. Horse riding is also offered as a sporting activity under the supervision of qualified trainers.
The school canteen inculcates good eating habits by providing hygiene, appetizing and nutritious meals.
The school offers over 50 fully air-conditioned buses to meet the transportation needs of the students. An escort teacher and helping staff accompanies the children in the bus. All the buses are equipped with a medical kit for emergency. In case of a delay due to unforeseen circumstances, parents are immediately informed through SMS.
Academics
Mayoor School, Noida is an English medium school following the CBSE curriculum, offering education from Kindergarten through class XII. The curriculum followed at primary and middle school level is as prescribed by NCERT.
Co-Curricular:
Students participate in various inter-house competitions conducted by the school. Other co-curricular activities include block painting, glass painting, flower making, calligraphy, dance, instrumental music, dramatics and street play, vocal music, aerobics and yoga, among others. Sports activities include Hockey, Football, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Carom and Chess.
Admission
Eligibility for admissions:
For Pre-Nursery: 2 years 6 months as on April 1. For Nursery: 3 years 3 months as on April 1.

Application for registration is attached to the prospectus. The registration form can also be downloaded from the website. The filled in application form along with the registration fee, attested copy of the child"s Birth Certificate and vaccination card needs to be deposited at the school reception within the stipulated date. The registration fee is non-refundable. The process of registration does not guarantee admission.
For classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery, parents are informed about the date of interaction on completion of the registration process. Based on the informal interaction and the number of vacancies in each class, parents are notified. Once the admission is confirmed, school fees and documents required need to be submitted within the given time frame.
For entrance exams for classes KG – XI, once the registration process has been completed, parents are informed about the date of written entrance test.
