Overview
Maxfort School, Dwarka is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school was inaugurated by Dr. Kiran Bedi on March 31, 2006, and boasts an enrolment of 1,400 students with an average of 35 children per class. Founded by Satish Narang, Maxfort believes in the philosophy that "a healthy mind resides in a healthy body".
Maxfort School has a stellar advisory board comprising eminent personalities -- Justice Rama Murthi, former high court judge, Dr. Baldev Mahajan, who has worked in HRD Ministry as a Joint Secretary, Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Surinder Kumar Khosla, an IAS Officer, Professor B. P. Khandelwal (Ex-Chairman, CBSE and Ex- Vice Chancellor, NUEPA), among others.
Campus
Located in Dwarka, the Maxfort School campus boasts spacious air-conditioned classrooms equipped with powerboards, well equipped labs for math, physics, chemistry and biology, state-of-the-art computer labs, well stocked library, music and dance rooms, an amphitheatre, early years activity room, art and craft work areas and a medical room. The entire school is networked through computers to facilitate interaction between the management, teachers, students and parents. The school has a fleet of modern, comfortable, air-conditioned buses to transport students.
Sports facilities include a composite play field for games such as football, cricket, basketball, throw ball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and field events. A skating rink and facilities for taekwondo, football, yoga and aerobics are also on offer.

Academics
The school is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). At the pre-primary level children are taught to master the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. The curriculum provides a variety of experiences through story-telling, role play, group activities, art, music, field excursions, sports activities etc.
At the junior level (classes I to V) classroom learning is made enjoyable through the XSEED curriculum which uses experimental and research based teaching-learning methods. Rote learning is discouraged.
In middle school (classes VI to VIII) students are encouraged to become active thinkers and confident learners. Formal learning and activities such as field trips, counseling sessions, personality development and workshops promote self-awareness and understanding.
At the senior level (classes IX- XII) the aim is to strike a balance a between academics and co-curricular activities. A detailed time line and guideline is put into effect for completion of work, preparation of classroom assignments and assessment. Counseling sessions are held to help students identify their field of interest on the basis of their ability and aptitude.
