Overview
Manav Rachna International School (MRIS), Sector 46, Gurgaon is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school is a member of the Manav Rachna Educational Institutions - a brainchild of renowned educationist Dr. O.P. Bhalla and offers schooling from Nursery to class XII.
Campus
The school sprawls over 5.15 acres hosting a well stocked, computerized library, a junior engineer lab, math and language labs, labs for physics, chemistry, biology and home science, classrooms equipped with interactive boards, internet connectivity and smart class program. The school campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
The school houses a section called Legoland, where nursery children are encouraged to build different types of models of machines with 21st century teaching methodology. They use advanced Lego Kits and various shaped Legos to enhance their motor skills and create as well as execute their innovative ideas.
The sports infrastructure includes a swimming pool, lawn tennis court and facilities for cricket, football, gymnastics, horse-riding, basketball, skating, taekwondo, yoga, pool, table tennis, chess and carom.
Accomodation
Being a day school, MRIS Gurgaon does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
The Junior School curriculum focuses on the development of oral as well as written expression, creative writing, critical thinking and mathematical skills. The subjects formally introduced at this level are English, Hindi, math, international primary curriculum/GES, computer science, art and craft, physical education, science (class V), Third Language - Sanskrit/French (introduced in class V), robotics and online paragon curriculum.
The teaching-learning process at this level is interactive and conscious effort is made to integrate subjects.
In the senior section - classes VI to XII, the subjects offered include biology, physics and chemistry, math with algebra, geometry and arithmetic, social studies with history, civics, geography, and disaster management and economics. Choice is offered between Sanskrit/French/Hindi as Second Language in class IX.
Streams offered in classes XI and XII are commerce, non-medical science, medical science and humanities. Smart Class modules, group work, group discussions, interaction, experimentation, project work, dramatization, and power point presentations are the tools used to facilitate the teaching-learning process in senior school.
Extracurricular:
The school conducts external examinations such as NTSE, NSO, ISO, NCO, IMO, IEO, NIMO, IGO, IKEN, NIE and Spell Vocab to ensure learning extends beyond the classroom. It also encourages children to participate in sports, robotics, cultural, linguistics and art and craft.

A print out of the completed application form must be taken before submitting the application online. The school notifies parents via phone or email or through information on website about the interaction/admission test.
Names of selected students are displayed on the school notice board and the same is conveyed to parents telephonically or through e-mail/website.
Parents of selected students are required to pay the fee within the stipulated time frame through a demand draft. Under exceptional conditions, cash payment can also be made at the school counter.
Parents are required to submit a copy of the application form submitted online (print taken) and affix his/her recent passport size colour photograph along with other documents as mentioned in the application form mentioning details of payment of school fee.
