Overview
Maharishi Vidya Mandir chain of schools is one of the largest school systems in India with 141 branches in 16 states.
Founded in 2000, Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM), Hyderabad is a coeducational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It offers schooling from primary level through class XII.
Campus
The 7.05 acre school campus hosts spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library featuring a collection of 15,000 books, besides subscriptions to several periodicals, and magazines. The campus also houses a well maintained play-ground.
Other facilities include reading room, music room, art room, transcendental meditation hall, and yoga hall.
MVM provides playfields for popular sports such as cricket, volleyball, hockey, foot-ball and tennis.
Accomodation
Being a day school, it does not provide accommodation facility.
Academics
Being a CBSE affiliated school, MVM follows conventional curriculum in Hindi/Regional Language/English medium. In addition to this, provision has been made for learning Sanskrit as a compulsory subject. Students are also being imparted knowledge of Maharishi Vedic Science, Yoga, Indian traditions and culture.
Admission
Admissions are on first come first served basis for Nursery. For other classes, it is based on seat availability and on first come first served basis. For class I to XII, admission is based on verbal/written test and interview.
Minimum age for students for admission to Nursery is 3 years as on April 1 of the year of admission.
