Little Millennium, Anna Nagar is a franchisee preschool of the Little Millennium chain of preschools promoted by Educomp Ltd, one of the country's largest K-12 education companies. The curriculum has been specially designed comprising early childhood professionals and experts for 2-6 year olds, and conforms to world-class learning standards.
Campus
The campus offers state-of-the-art facilities. The classrooms are well-ventilated with vibrant colours and eye-catching education aids that lead to fun learning. Little Millennium uses the Teaching Aid Nomenclature (TAN) collection of teaching techniques, and organizes various extra-curricular events and programmes.
Academics
The school offers the following programmes:
Developing roots (Playgroup): This programme is for 2-3 year olds. It comprises of fun-filled activities, rhyme-based themes, socialization, sensorial learning and life skills.
Emerging wings (Nursery): This programme meets the developmental requirements of children between the ages of 3-4 years. The curriculum includes introduction to writing, phonological activities and experiential learning.
Ready to fly I (Junior KG): This is a programme for 4-5 year olds. In this, children learn Hindi as a second language and work further on the skills learnt the previous year.
Ready to fly II (Senior KG): This programme is recommended for 5-6 year old children. Children can apply their knowledge of alphabets and phonetics in the next level of learning.
The curriculum is a blend of the Montessori, theme-based, project, multiple intelligence and playway methods.
The school focuses on developing children's language development, cognitive development, fine motor development, gross motor development, nurturing individual potential, personal awareness, and socio-emotional development.
