Overview
Founded in 2005, Lalaji Omega International Senior Secondary School (LMOIS), Chennai is a co-educational English medium day-cum-boarding school founded by Shri Parthasarathi Rajgopalachari. LMOIS is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK.
Omega International School strives to bring about a sense of balance in its students, to help them apply what they learn with humility and wisdom, so that the end result is harmonious and productive.
Campus
LMOIS campus hosts spacious classrooms equipped with over-head projectors and smart boards, well-equipped laboratories (Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics), junior and senior computer lab, a well-resourced library featuring books, reference materials, periodicals and newspapers, and 7 Montessori laboratories for kindergarten children.
Sports facilities include football fields, cricket nets, volleyball court, tennis and basketball courts.

Accomodation
LMOIS provides separate boarding facilities for boys and girls. The dormitories are well-ventilated, well organised and spacious. Each student has an independent room equipped with a bed, wardrobe, study table, chair and shoe rack.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Curriculum
Omega follows the continuous and comprehensive pattern of evaluation (CCE) recommended by CBSE. Omega follows Montessori activities for kindergarten students, abacus programme for classes IV and V, smart classrooms with modern teaching methodology, NIE (Newspaper in Education) from class IV, field trips as an extension of classroom learning, and experimental learning.
Cambridge International Curriculum
Omega offers the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP), Lower Secondary Programme (LSP), Checkpoint, International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), International Certificate of Education (ICE) and Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level (As and A Level) examinations.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
NIOS offers a system of Open Basic Education (OBE) to establish equivalency at class III, V and VIII levels for both children and adults.
NIOS imparts learning through various means, using a range of media including print audio, video and data supported by personal contact programs.
Value Based Spiritual Education (VBSE)
Extra-curricular activities:

Admission procedure is as follows:

b. Completed applications are to be submitted online only
c. No application fee is payable at the time of submitting the online application
d. Attested copies of the following documents must be submitted at the time of interaction/entrance examination:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Proof of address
3. Community certificate (if applicable) (SC/ST/MBC/OBC/DNC/BC)
4. Report card or Progress card for the latest term / semester from the school last attended,
e. Please produce 3 passport size color photographs during interaction
