Overview
Lakshmipat Singhania Academy (LSA), Kolkata is a coeducational day school founded in 1996 under the Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and offers education from pre-school to class XII. It has been a recipient of the British Council’s International School Award 2011-14.
Campus
Sited on a lush green 1.21 acre sprawling campus, the school offers state-of-the-art infrastructure including a multi-storied building, lift, assembly halls, well-equipped science labs, math lab, computer lab, resource room, two western music rooms, infirmary, cafeteria, AV rooms, a senior library, a junior library, art labs, book store, reprographics and language room. There is also a playground with a basketball, throwball and handball court, recreation area, movement room, a museum and spacious, air-conditioned and smart classrooms.

Being a day school, LSA Kolkata does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
LSA Kolkata is an English medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary School (CBSE), New Delhi. It offers education from pre-school to class XII. The academic year starts from April.
The school provides opportunities to explore various subjects through hands-on activities, research and projects. Students are encouraged to develop curiosity and explore different topics. A dedicated staff helps them excel in academic pursuits.
Extracurricular:
The school promotes various activity clubs including a quiz club, eco club, nature club, drama club, cookery club and volleyball club. The school also hosts special activities as part of their curriculum such as Indian music, Indian dance, Western music, Western dance, Art & Craft, computer, scouts and guides and robotics.

Admission
Registration for admission starts in August or September. Around 105 vacancies exist in pre-school I and about 120 vacancies exist for class I every year. Registrations for admission to classes II - XII open only if vacancies arise in these classes during the academic session. Prior applications from parents seeking admission to these classes may be sent to the school office. Enquiries regarding this can be made during February or March.
The registration forms are provided in the school prospectus. Parents or guardians should fill in the registration form and submit it along with the supporting documents specified in the form. An admit card-cum-receipt indicating the date and time of the test or meeting is issued to the applicant. Meetings or interviews for admission to pre-school I and class I are generally held in September or October.
