Founded by Vinod Gupta, Kimberley is a co-educational, international residential school affiliated with the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK with English as the medium of instruction. The school is also a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and aspires to achieve the status of a fully authorized IB World school.
Kimberley promises to infuse in its students comprehensive techniques of learning and research, thus creating awareness. It aims in channelling the lives of the students in the right direction and develop them as responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Campus
Kimberley is spread across 20 acres hosting well lit spacious classrooms, well stocked library with a wide range of different books on various topics and a host of other facilities.
It houses well-furnished different laboratories for web designing, photography, language learning, cooking, needle work and computers.
The residential block includes a professionally designed dining hall with state-of-the-art facilities. The air-conditioned bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The cupboards are spacious and the desks are equipped with ergonomic lightings.
The school houses a football ground, a badminton court, a swimming pool, a basketball court and a shooting arena for rifle practice that is still under construction.
All open spaces are under strict surveillance and are monitored under Closed Circuit Television (CCTV); security guards 24/7 staff every entry and exit points.
Accomodation
Being a boarding school, Kimberley provides excellent boarding facilities for girls and boys from class I to XII.
Academics
Offering education from class I through class XII, the school solely concentrates on imparting learning on a global perspective. Alongside international curriculum,students are also provided opportunity to delve into their home culture and language,thus preparing them as outstanding individuals on a global platform.
Sports are mandatory for all students for at least two hours on a daily basis. The outdoor sports activities include swimming, football, basketball, tennis, cricket, trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, rock climbing, beach volley, athletics, cross country, aerobics and riding.
The school also offers classes based on research on methods to conserve the environment and demonstrate consideration for the poor and needy through unpaid assistance to them.
Admission
Application forms are available on the school website.The completed application formshouldbe deposited atthe school office accompanied with a payment, as registration fee, of Indian rupees 10,000/- for residents of India & SAARC Nations. For residents of Non SAARC Nations, the registration fee of USD 350 must be made. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a seat reservation. Students who are registered will be called for an assessment test in January and April each year. The date and time of assessment will be intimated well in advance by the school office.
