Overview
Promoted by the R.B. Jodhamal Group, one of the oldest business groups in Jammu & Kashmir, Jodhamal Public School was founded in keeping with the vision of Rai Bahadur Jodha Mal Kuthiala (1883-1961). It is a co-educational, English medium senior secondary school affiliated with the Delhi based Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
According to a school spokesperson, “The Jodhamal Public School has been built on the sound edifice of traditional wisdom and futuristic thought. We believe that in the highly competitive world of the 21st century, it is as essential to develop innovative knowledge, as it is to imbue traditional values. It is these guiding principles that have been instrumental in developing the education and training model of the school.”
Campus
Sprawling across four green acres, the school campus is sited amidst posh residential colonies of Jammu and offers state of the art infrastructure with fully equipped, well ventilated and spacious digital classrooms with smart boards and facilities for audio-visual teaching tools, labs for science subjects (physics, chemistry and biology), phonetic labs, computer labs as well as abacus laboratories. The school also houses a toy room for kindergarten section, a splash pool, a mini skating rink and 100,000 sq feet space dedicated for outdoor activities.
The campus also houses a medical intervention room and doctors are available on call.
