Overview
Jamnabai Narsee School was founded in 1971 and over the years it has become well renowned for academic excellence as well as co-curricular competency in art, sports, and other creative fields. The school is situated in Juhi Vile Parle Development Scheme in Navi, Mumbai.
It has over 4800 students from lower KG to high school i.e. it offers 10+2 education. The school campus is spread over 200,000 square feet with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Campus
The school campus is spread across 4.5 acres of land with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The campus has courts for basketball, volleyball, throw ball and handball. The school has 72 classrooms with technical drawing room, art room, math laboratory, environmental science rooms, and rooms for Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Indian and western music.
The school has science laboratories with science activity centre and employs 175 teachers and support staff, besides 100 karmacharis.

Jamnabai Narsee School is a day school, it does not provide hostel facility.
Academics
The school is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), The International General Certificate of Secondary Education conducted by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, United Kingdom (IGCSE) and The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, India.
The examinations for promoting students from class IX to X are conducted at the end of the year. The responsibility for promotions lies with the head of the school in accordance with attendance and pass criteria as laid down by CISCE, New Delhi.
The IGCSE exams can be taken in November/December or May/June. The NIOS’s curriculum provides knowledge that is functional and sets the path for further studies. It was introduced by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Education), New Delhi. The student should pass in minimum 5 subjects including English and compulsory subjects to qualify for NIOS board examinations.
Extracurricular:
The school provides co-curricular activities like debates, dance competitions, art and craft, etc and students are encouraged to join NCC (National Cadet Corps). The school also celebrates sports day and encourages student to take part in environment projects.

ECTE: Issued on 21st and 22nd June 2012
FDD: Issued between 21st to 29th June 2012
IBPD: Issued from 20th to 22nd September (for academic year 2013-2015)
Submission of forms between 11th to 13th December
ICSE: Registration forms issued on 14th December 2012 and submission on 15th December 2012
IGCSE: Registration forms issued on 7th and 8th February 2013 and submission between 13th to 15th February
NIOS: Issued on 29th and 30th April 2012 and submission on 2nd and 3rd May 2012.
