Overview
Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur was founded in 1980 as Dr. Kamal Nath Public Trust by Sri Mahendra Nath. IMT is today reckoned among the top B-schools in India. Its primary campus is located at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It also hosts a campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All the programmes of IMT are approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). IMT-Nagpur was ranked No. 34 amongst top B-schools in India by Business World 2010 Survey and was ranked 9th best B-School in India by WEEK-MaRS B-School Rating Survey 2010.
The IMT-Nagpur placement cell ensures lucrative placements the students through a dedicated placement committee which also includes students selected after an impartial process.
Campus
Spread across a sprawling 27 acre campus, IMT is nestled amidst sylvan surroundings. IMT provides world class infrastructure supported by state of the art technology. It hosts spacious, air-conditioned classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipments, a spacious library also known as Learning Resource Centre featuring 15,000 volumes of books and various national and international journals.
As IMT Nagpur offers fully residential programmes, it provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Recreational and sports facilities include gymnasium, basket ball, tennis, volley ball, cricket and football. A unique feature of the campus includes an IBM Business Analytic Lab, which is in the process of being set up, where IBM will provide relevant software for CEBT training.

Admission
Three years Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50 aggregate score, is required for admission into the post graduate diploma programme. Final selection is based on CAT scores and subsequent personal interviews held at Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Indore.
Fees: Total payable fee for the PGDM course is Rs.10,30,000.
